The hotel provided a clean and comfortable stay with friendly service. It is conveniently located for visiting various towns in North Yorkshire, although the surroundings lack picturesque views. The dining experience, while relaxing, could be improved in terms of variety and timeliness. Overall, a good value for money choice.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely with a nice big bathroom and plenty of space in the new block. However, it could have been more comfortable with air-conditioning on these summer nights. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very helpful and apologetic for any inconvenience. The location was superb, great for exploring Boroughbridge and the surrounding areas. The dining options were delicious; however, the additional charges were a downside. Overall, a great value for the money.

The hotel rooms were exceptionally spacious, scrupulously clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with great touches like fans and hot water bottles, exceeding my expectations for a small double room. The location was excellent for traveling in and out of York and Harrogate, near the river and canal, offering a cozy and warm atmosphere popular with locals. The dining experience, delivering a delicious and huge breakfast in a hamper to the bedroom, was a delightful surprise albeit not previously clear when booking. A well-rounded stay offering great value for the money.
